Current Projects

TIME & TIME AGAIN is the first full-length feature production from Homegrown Filmmaking.

A project six years in the making, with its conception in 2020 to production in 2025, it is our largest production ever with 14 crew members, half a dozen locations, explosions, car chases, and live animals. The entire cast and crew were local to Oklahoma and it was shot wholly on-location in the city of Bartlesville.

‍ ‍Late one night Trae (Producer, co-writer) was scrolling through the SCP website when he came across the Timecrowave, known as SCP-119. Jesse (Writer, Director) and Trae developed the story over the next several years mostly as a dream project. Originally envisioned as a short film, it quickly became apparent that to do the characters justice, a longer runtime was needed. The short was rewritten into a feature with the help of Ryan Ellington, and with a completed script, the dream inched closer to reality.

Principal Photography began in October 2025 to utilize the changing seasons as a colorful backdrop for James and Laura’s struggle. The cast and crew worked for 18 days to bring the story to life, and quickly became close friends and collaborators. On a self-funded budget of $25,000, and with a team made up entirely of Okies, TIME & TIME AGAIN is truly a triumph of independent filmmaking and a brilliant showcase of what Oklahoma filmmakers are capable of.
